The Magic Avenue is proud to be part of the NHB’s Singapore Night Festival programme. In this programme, we are tasked to the “Glamour Section” where the show is to be customized to be “glamorous”. The performers customized the shows to the theme and had a blast with the audience for 2 nights.
The Magic Avenue performers Captain Amazing and Explorer Joe staged a fully customized 30min show for the official launch of the Kinect for Xbox 360 at Plaza Singapura in November 2010. The show incorporated their puppet characters and included live demonstrations of games with plenty of interaction with the audience.
Each performer also staged individual customized shows on subsequent days for the 5 day long event.
To promote Maybank’s home loan plans to consumers, The Magic Avenue created a customized road show. The show featured our performer whose puppet friends described how they were able to get a home with the help of Maybank’s home loans. The show also served to attract the crowd and created awareness of Maybank’s home loan services.
In order to communicate the message of environmental awareness, The Magic Avenue created a unique show to encourage consumers to ‘go green’. Through a series of shows, our performers highlighted how reusable everyday products from Tupperware can help save the environment.
The Magic Avenue created a customized show to promote reading titled “The Magic of Reading”. The show was staged for PCF Mountbatten’s annual reading day in 2009. The success of that show prompted repeat performances in 2010 and 2011, which our performers staged with changes made each year to keep the show fresh. The Magic of Reading has also been staged at the Marine Parade Community Library and The National Library.
