Special Events/ Customized Shows

The Magic Avenue's team has worked on various events of varying scales over the past three years. From customizing a show to create product awareness, to full turn key event management or simply to provide entertainment, we have worked with our clients to ensure that each event was a success.

Our past events include:

X10 - Singapore Launch of Kinect for Xbox 360

The Magic Avenue performers Captain Amazing and Explorer Joe staged a fully customized 30min show for the official launch of the Kinect for Xbox 360 at Plaza Singapura in November 2010. The show incorporated their puppet characters and included live demonstrations of games with plenty of interaction with the audience.

Each performer also staged individual customized shows on subsequent days for the 5 day long event.

MayBank Home Loan Road Show 2010

To promote Maybank’s home loan plans to consumers, The Magic Avenue created a customized road show. The show featured our performer whose puppet friends described how they were able to get a home with the help of Maybank’s home loans. The show also served to attract the crowd and created awareness of Maybank's home loan services.

Tupperware Environmental Awareness Road Shows

In order to communicate the message of environmental awareness, The Magic Avenue created a unique show to encourage consumers to ‘go green’. Through a series of shows, our performers highlighted how reusable everyday products from Tupperware can help save the environment.

HDB Little Ones @ Work 2010 & 2011

The Housing Development Board (HDB) organized their annual "Bring Your Kids To Work" day. The Magic Avenue provided decorations and performances to make this event a memorable one for the staff and their families at HDB Hub. The performances were customized to incorporate the theme of the event.

NUH Kids @ Work 2010

The Magic Avenue planned and executed the entire day's program for The National University Hospital's (NUH) annual Kids@Work. Some of the services provided included games, shows including an educational health message, balloon twisting workshop and logistic support.

The Magic of Reading

The Magic Avenue created a customized show to promote reading titled “The Magic of Reading”. The show was staged for PCF Mountbatten’s annual reading day in 2009. The success of that show prompted repeat performances in 2010 and 2011, which our performers staged with changes made each year to keep the show fresh. The Magic of Reading has also been staged at the Marine Parade Community Library and The National Library.

Seasonal Shows (Chinese New Year, Christmas, National Day etc)

Over the years, The Magic Avenue has also created themed shows for various special holidays. We have created shows for the Chinese New Year featuring a puppet God of Fortune who gives away real red packets (yes they’re loaded), a Christmas show featuring Santa and his elves and even a National Day show that tells the story of Singapore and culminates in the magical production of the Singapore National flag.
